“When was the last time you asked for help at a grocery store, and the clerk did everything possible to help you? They ask about your day, chat with you, and build a genuine connection so when you return they greet you by first name? That was me during my school years. Working at the local grocery store, I made it a point to connect with three new people each shift. Running down aisles finding items for customers and listening to their stories, I found my passion: providing service.
